Nurse practitioner certificates issued to a registered professional nurse will reflect the specialty area of nurse practitioner academic preparation.
The certificate will specify the specialty area of practice and, when applicable, that prescriptive privileges have been granted. A nurse practitioner may apply for certification in more than one specialty area of practice.
A complete application and fee shall be required for each certificate.
